CTC LOCATIONS

CTC (Culture & Training Center) locations are shining examples of Rhodes’ mission, core value and company culture. This elite group of stores build brand awareness among its guests and team members while positioning Rhodes as an employer-of-choice in its communities.

CTC locations have a special responsibility to train all levels of management upon hiring including headquarter team members. They set expectations and opportunities of success for all incoming leaders. CTC stores instill culture and increase retention through consistent training methods at all levels.

The standards and requirements to become a CTC location are demanding. Gaining the prestigious designation is not a “one-and-done” experience. CTC locations are challenged by quarterly follow-up inspections to maintain their title. Two consecutive unsatisfactory inspections will cause their CTC status to be revoked, and retesting cannot occur until the next annual application window opens.

 The steps to apply and be approved as a CTC location include:

  • The General Manager submits formal notice displaying interest in becoming a CTC location.
  • The corporate team verifies that the location is eligible for consideration. The store’s 12-month inspection scores must meet a formidable threshold to be eligible.
  • Team members exhibit consistent, positive interactions with guests.
  • Team members display positive attitudes at all times.
  • Team members possess the ability and knowledge required to train new hires at a high level.
  • All levels of store management display exemplary leadership skills.
  • Team members across all shifts meet the same high standards even when the store’s General Manager is not on duty.
  • The store’s team member retention rate maintains a high level.

Regardless of a store’s performance as a CTC location, they will still need to requalify for the status on an annual basis to protect the program’s integrity.

Management Trainee Program

We cultivate our management team by promoting from within. Management Trainees receive rigorous training at a Rhodes store that has earned the CTC (Culture & Training Center) status.  These individuals are developed with the goal of managing their own Rhodes location one day.

General Manager

General Managers are responsible for developing  and motivating their teams to exceed guests’ expectations.  They set the tone for their teams on every shift by creating a positive work environment.  They also remain accountable for the store’s operations, finances and overall presentation.  

Restaurant Team Member

Restaurant Team Members are responsible for maintaining inventory, preparing and serving food through breakfast, lunch and dinner, merchandising foods and finding ways to increase sales.

Convenience Store Team Member

Convenience Store Team Members are responsible for cooperating with their team, providing exemplary guest service, exceeding housekeeping standards and merchandising products.

Restaurant Manager

Restaurant Managers are responsible for setting standards in food service, leading team members, achieving sales goals and contributing to their store’s success.

Assistant Manager

Assistant Managers are responsible for reinforcing service standards and  assisting the General Manager to maximize the profitability of their store.

Shift
Manager

Shift Managers are responsible for maintaining guest satisfaction, motivating teams during shifts and assisting with supervisory duties.
